PetKeep is a local-first pet health and medication tracker. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information. Our guiding principle is simple: we do not collect any personal data.

2. Developer and Operator

3. Information We Do Not Collect

PetKeep does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following on our servers:

• Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number)
• Pet health records, medication data, or photos
• Device identifiers or usage analytics
• Location data
• Any data from your contacts or photo library

All data you enter into PetKeep remains exclusively on your device.

4. Local Data Storage

Your pet records, medications, doses, weight logs, health events, and photos are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data is contained within your device's app sandbox and is not accessible to us or any third party.

If you enable device-wide iCloud Backup, your app's data may be included in your encrypted iCloud backup at Apple's discretion. iCloud Backup is a system feature of your device controlled entirely by Apple. PetKeep does not upload data to iCloud or any other service.

5. Third-Party Services

PetKeep uses the following third-party frameworks, all provided by Apple and governed by Apple's privacy policies:

• SwiftData — For local data persistence on your device.
• UserNotifications — For local reminder notifications. These are scheduled and delivered on your device without server involvement.

We do not integrate with any advertising SDKs, analytics platforms, or social media trackers.

6. Photos

Photos you add within PetKeep are stored locally in the app's sandbox. We do not access your photo library without your explicit permission, and we never upload images to any server.

7. Children's Privacy

PetKeep is not directed at children under 13. We do not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). Because all data is stored locally on the user's device and is never transmitted to us or any external server, there is no mechanism through which a child could provide personal information to us. Parents and guardians can be assured that all data stays on the device.

We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations by not collecting any personal information from children.

8. Your Data Control

Because all your data is stored locally on your device, you have full and independent control over it. You do not need to contact us to access, modify, or delete your data:

• Access and export: Use the in-app PDF export feature to create a portable copy of your pet's records.
• Deletion: Delete individual records within the app, or delete the entire app to remove all associated data from your device. Uninstalling the app will permanently delete all local data with no cloud recovery option.
• Correction: Edit any record directly within the app at any time.

9. Security Measures

We protect your privacy through a local-first architecture:

• All data remains on your device within Apple's app sandbox.
• No network requests are made for data storage or retrieval.
• We do not operate servers, databases, or cloud infrastructure that could access your data.

While we take these measures to protect your data, no device or system can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for securing your device with a passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. Any changes will be posted here with an updated date. We may also include a summary of significant changes in App Store update notes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

11. Legal Compliance

This Privacy Policy is designed to comply with:

• Apple App Store Review Guidelines — Section 5.1.1 (Data Collection and Storage)
• GDPR (EU) — General Data Protection Regulation
• CCPA (California) — California Consumer Privacy Act
• COPPA (US) — Children's Online Privacy Protection Act

Because PetKeep does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data, we inherently comply with the core data-protection requirements of these regulations. No data leaves your device.

12. Website Privacy

This website (petkeep.lockeep.app) is a static site that does not collect any personal information:

• We do not use cookies or tracking technologies.
• We do not use analytics services.
• We do not collect any information about your visit.
